The Koto Hydro Power Project will generate more than 40 MW of electricity this year 98% construction work on the project is complete, the project is a milestone in the Energy sector, Special Secretary Energy & Power Department KP visited the project site of KOTO Hydro Power Project in Dir Lower. Project Director KOTO Mr. Engineer Sultan Rom gave a detailed briefing about the progress in the ongoing construction work. He said that after the completion of the project, 40.8 megawatts of electricity will be generated through the national grid. He said that the project will generate an annual income of 2 billion rupees. More than 98% of the construction work on the project has been completed and 97% of the equipment installation has already been completed, while the project will be completed in November-December 2024 this year. Special Secretary Energy & Power Dept Mr. Irfan Ullah Khan Wazir directed the project director to maintain close contact with the district administration, police and other stakeholders. Later, along with the project team, he inspected various sites of KOTO Hydro Power project, sand trap and power house channel and issued various instructions on the spot. It is an important milestone.
