CAREER OPPORTUNITY At Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization

Energy & Power Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites applications from suitable dynamic and competent professionals for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), PEDO. The appointment shall be for a period of three years or at the pleasure of government as the case may be. The Candidate must have requisite qualification, experience and age as mentioned below

Position Details

Position Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Requisite Qualification, Experience and Age limit for the post is as under: -

Minimum Qualification

A. Person from Open Market.

1) At least First-Class Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Electronics, Mechanical/ Mechatronics, Civil Engineering or at least First-Class Master’s Degree (16 Years of Education) in Management Sciences, Natural Science or Law from a recognized university or Institute.

2) Have at least fifteen years’ experience in the field of Energy, Engineering, Law, Administration or Finance in terms of Sub Section (3) of Section 9 of the Act, out of which five years’ experience shall be at the Top Management Level.

3) The relevant experience shall be in a government, semi government, Autonomous Organization or in Private Sector bodies of National and International Level.

B. Retired Government Servants.

4) Government Servants who have retired in BPS-20 or above and have the relevant fifteen years’ experience in the field of Energy, Engineering, Law, Administration or Finance in terms of Sub Section (3) of Section 9 of the Act.

Domicile

The candidate shall be a citizen of Pakistan and preference will be given to the resident of the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Age

Maximum Age limit is 62 Years on the closing date of submission of Application form.

Salary, Perks and Privileges

The Chief Executive Officer shall be entitled for market-based salary, compatible to the experience and qualification of the selected candidates to be negotiated with the candidate at the time of appointment and approved by the Policy Board.

2.  Duly filled & signed Application form (Form – A) along with attested copies of all the documents/ testimonials, experience certificates updated CV/resume, copy of CNIC, 02 Passport size photographs and other supporting documents to be sent to Secretary Energy & Power Department at the address mentioned before the closing date of application. 3. Applications complete in all respects must reach the office of the undersigned not later than July 28, 2025.
4. The Application form (Form – A) along with mention documents to be sent by registered courier company. By hand Applications, those received after due date and applications with incomplete information & lack of testimonials will not be considered at all.
5. Unclaimed qualification and experience will not be accepted/counted. Claimed Qualification and experience without supporting documents/documented proofs will also be not accepted/counted.
6. Clearly mark the position applied for in the Subject line/Envelope.
7. Only Eligible/Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview. Shortlisting shall be carried out on the basis of selection criteria duly approved by the PEDO Board.
8. Government/Semi Government employees shall send their applications through proper channel.
9. Selection of Project/Contractual and regular employees already working in PEDO in the ongoing developmental projects or against regular positions shall be subject to No Objection Certificate (NOC) from CEO PEDO.
10. Candidates are instructed to mention correct information while filling the application form.
